"BAYANIHAN SYSTEM"
Nowadays, the so called "Bayanihan System" is losing its ground. Everybody has his or her business to concentrate. With the fast changes of lifestyle , almost everybody wanted to compete in this world of work.
However, it's one of the best practice here in Bedbed to restore the value of helping and working together in unity.Despite the hardships of livelihood and the long winding road which make the transportation very difficult carrying loads during market days, people showed their undying patience and tolerance of the situation.
So, during emergencies, patients are being carried and brought to a nearby hospital like Lepanto and Rural Health Center of Mankayan. This is done by putting the patient in a carriage and hike through the Baneng and pathways of the barangay until they reached Mankayan where jeepneys are accessible. On the other hand, during typhoons, people clean the way which is being damage by heavy rains causing erosions and crackling of the ground. This is indeed a Filipino way.
